Demodulation of Amplitude Shift Keying Signal

Calculations & Observations

Fig.1 Showing digital signal (blue) & ASK-Demodulated signal (green).

In the above Fig.1, showing demodulation of ASK signal in which the ASK modulated wave generated being feed into the Rectifier & then through the Tuneable LPF. So that theASK- Demodulated signal can be recovered by varying the LPF gain & frequency to smoothen the demodulated ASK signal.

Fig.2 Frequency Spectrum of ASK-Demodulated wave.

In the fig.2, the THD is 89.16 % & SINAD is -0.55 dB. The detected fundamental frequency is at 212.30 Hz & the fundamental Frequency Power is 0.04.

Fig.3 Power Spectrum of ASK-Demodulated wave in dB scale.

In the fig.3, theTHD is 84.56 % & SINAD is 0.01 dB. The detected fundamental frequency is at 7661.77 Hz & the fundamental Frequency Power is 0.06.
